Print-Ready Artwork Requirements
- Flat trim size: 10″ wide × 7″ high.
- Include ⅛″ bleed on every outside edge: your complete artwork size should be 10.25″ × 7.25″.
- Outside spread: for a standard portrait card, place the back cover on the left and the front cover on the right.
- Inside printing: supply a separate inside spread at the same flat size, including bleed.
- Extend background colors and images through the bleed. Keep important text, logos and faces away from the trim edges and center score.
- Do not include visible fold lines or artwork guide lines in your final print file.
- RGB files will be converted to CMYK and slight color shifts may occur.

Greeting Card Printing FAQs
What size are the greeting cards?
Each card measures 10″ × 7″ flat and folds to a finished size of 5″ × 7″. The standard portrait layout has the back cover on the left and front cover on the right of the outside spread.
Do the cards arrive folded?
No. Cards are scored down the center and shipped flat for you to fold. Scoring is included in the price.
Can I choose matte or high gloss?
Yes. Choose a matte finish for a subtle, low-shine look or a high-gloss front for a shiny outside finish. Both options are available at the same price with outside-only or outside-and-inside printing.
What cardstock do you use?
Orders of 25 through 500 use 14 pt cardstock. Every 1,000-card order receives a complimentary upgrade to thicker 16 pt cardstock.
What is the difference between 4/0 and 4/4?
4/0 means full-color printing on the outside spread, covering the front and back covers, with the inside blank. 4/4 means full-color printing on both the outside and inside spreads.
What quantities can I order?

Are envelopes included?
Envelopes are not included in the greeting card prices shown. Contact us if you need envelopes for your order.
How should I prepare my artwork?
Prepare each spread at 10″ × 7″ plus ⅛″ bleed on every outside edge, for a total file size of 10.25″ × 7.25″. Print-ready PDF is preferred, with images at 300 DPI at final print size. Supply the outside spread and a separate inside spread when ordering inside printing. Contact us for template and orientation guidance before uploading.
